🔥HIGHLANDER BEECH FERRO ROD🔥 This is a great every day carry survival tool from the HIGHLANDER OUTDOORS survival fire starting range. The Highlander Beech Fire Starter (Ferro Rod and Striker) is an incredibly useful survival tool and one that shouldn't be overlooked if your looking for a reliable and functional survival fire starter. I can safely say from testing this is one tool that could justify its place in any ones survival kit, especially if you like your ferro rod and Striker to be used as a Key Chain Ferro Rod. But a word of caution regarding the striker supplied. The Striker is one of the worst i've used and it lets down the Ferro Rod which is awesome. So, great Ferro Rod but it comes with what could be the worst Ferro Rod Strikers in the Business. Here you can see this great Fire Starter in action against Jute Fibre (home made tinder). Vaseline and cotton balls are one of the most valuable fire starting tinder's in winter or in wet weather conditions so always keep it in mind when creating a survival fire kit but jute fibre is also a must in my opinion. As they are lightweight and compact plus are very cheap to make if you like home made fire starters. Will do a more detailed review on this great EDC Fire Starter in the coming weeks so stay tuned. This Ferro Rod comes in at about £11.99 which is about the same as the Wildo Fire Flash Pro Small. The Ferro Rod is bigger on the Highlander, however the striker on the Wildo is 100 times better.
