CADIO Firmware For ESP32: https://egycad.com/cadio/docs/firmwar... --------------------------------------------------------------- "Efficiency starts with knowledge" And to take control of our energy usage, we need to build a power meter Welcome back my friends In this video, we'll build a power meter using CADIO, allowing us to monitor home AC power with high accuracy and a simple setup We’ll be able to measure AC voltage, current, and total power consumption, all in real time We’ll use the PZEM004T. a high-accuracy power meter module. This module features RX and TX pins for data transfer to the ESP It comes with a clip-on CT sensor. allowing non-intrusive current measurement by simply clamping around a live wire, with no cutting required. Wiring is simple Connect RX and TX to two GPIOs, we’ll use GPIO 4 and 5. VCC to VCC GND to GND AC input to AC terminals And finally, clamp the sensor around the hot wire of the load you want to measure. In the info file, we add a PZEM004T device and select the RX and TX GPIOs. Our power meter will appear in the app interface, displaying the live power in watts And when we click on it, it will display all the data Measurements here are frequently updated every 5 seconds. we can see the voltage. The current. The real and the apparent power. The power factor, and the frequency. And our total consumption. The consumption is stored on the module itself, and you can reset it anytime using the reset button. We’re excited to see CADIO grows with you, Thank you for your support, Don't forget to subscribe to our channel, bookmark our website, and reach out anytime.
