Easy DIY Bluetooth Speaker Build Using PAM8403 Class D Digital Amplifier Hello everyone, welcome back. In today's video, I am going to show you how I build my DIY portable Bluetooth speaker using PAM8403 class d digital amplifier. This Bluetooth speaker is my first build, so there are lots of mistakes. Regardless of the error, the speaker turned out good. This video is my little effort to bring back the dead speaker thrown in the junkyard. Most of the components I used are salvaged from the old low-quality portable speaker which I found in the junkyard. Lucky me, the 3W speaker drivers were fresh as new, but the output signal IC of Bluetooth audio board was fried. However, the output AUX port still delivered the audio for the headphones, so I used PAM8403 2*3W audio board to amplify the audio coming out from the AUX port. Therefore, I got a good Bluetooth audio receiver for free as well. I also salvaged 18650 Li-ion battery from my old laptop battery. So, all the major components used to build this DIY Bluetooth Speaker was free of cost. The only investment I did was for the PAM8403, single cell power bank module, switch, some wires, LEDs and some of my time. One problem with this DIY Bluetooth speaker is the ground loop. But don't worry it can be isolated. Researching this problem, I found out that, the ground loop arose because I used the same power supply (from the battery) to power both the Bluetooth receiver and the PAM8403 audio amplifier. SO, to isolate the ground loop, you can simply use DC-DC ground loop isolator commercially available. Use this device to power audio amplifier; this will solve your problem. So, if you have a dead speaker lying around, you too can build your speaker with the components that are still useful, it's easy and simple. Hope you guys appreciate my effort and enjoy this video.
