"Big Eye 2's Spectacular Ten Sailfish Release Day"

Today was another exciting day on the waters of Quepos, Costa Rica aboard the Big Eye 2 Sportfishing charter. As the captain, Franklin Araya, I had the pleasure of hosting a group of seasoned anglers who have been fishing with us for many years. We left the Marina Pez Vela early in the morning, heading towards the offshore grounds that have been producing good numbers of billfish recently. The weather was perfect, with calm seas and a clear blue sky, which made for a truly enjoyable day of sportfishing. We started the day strong with a double hookup of sailfish. Our guests did a great job fighting these acrobatic fish, and after a thrilling battle, we managed to successfully release both of them back into the ocean. This was a great start and set the tone for the rest of the day. Throughout the day, we hooked into a total of 10 sailfish. All of the fish were healthy and put up a great fight, providing our guests with an unforgettable fishing experience. Each of these sailfish was successfully released back into the water, as part of our commitment to sustainable fishing practices and preserving the incredible fishing resources in the waters around Quepos. In addition to the sailfish, we also had a few bites from dorado (mahi-mahi), which provided some delicious meals for our guests to enjoy after a long day of fishing. As always, our crew worked tirelessly to ensure that our guests had a fantastic day on the water. From rigging the baits to coaching our guests through each fight, their hard work and dedication were evident. Overall, it was a fantastic day of fishing aboard the Big Eye 2. We are looking forward to welcoming these guests back again in the future, and to sharing more incredible fishing experiences with new and returning anglers.
