Neve Dekalim, the scene of some of the most violent protests on Thursday, was almost completely empty. Houses once filled with families stand abandoned and daubed with anti-withdrawal graffiti. Exhausted by the confrontations of the last few days many soldiers could be seen sleeping in the open air. While forces in Neve Dekalim were just starting to wake, others were already heading to the settlement of Gadid, where a large number of young protesters are holed up.
