"Premakes" - Lost (1966)

What if the TV series Lost had been first produced in the mid-60s, rather than the mid-noughties? What if it had been a contemporary of such 1960's school holiday oddities as White Horses, Land Of The Giants and The Flashing Blade? Patrick McGoohan plays Dr. Jack Shepard here, with Tiffany Bolling as Kate, Michael Sacks as Desmond and John Zaremba as Locke. A typically international cast also includes the likes of Robert Hoffmann, Leo McKern and Valerie Perrine. Here is the recipe for the trailer: The Prisoner (The Arrival, The Chimes Of Big Ben), Tom Sawyer (1973), Lord Of The Flies (1963), The New People (Pilot), Lost Flight, Godzilla (1954), Star Wars, Alive, Rosemary's Baby, Lord Of The Flies (1990), Crash Island (Pilot), Slaughterhouse-Five (1972), The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe (Teil 2), Tombstone (1993), Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, The Time Tunnel (Rendezvous with Yesterday), The Tempest (1980), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) and Plan 9 From Outer Space. The musical accompaniment is Glenn Miller's 'Moonlight Serenade', which featured prominently in a genuine Lost episode. Thanks must go to whoiseyevan for inspiring me to waste an afternoon of my life putting this together, and for not kicking up a fuss about me ripping off his idea, format, etc.
