2013 Goldfields Cyclassic Highlights

The 2013 Goldfields Cyclassic attracted a record number of entrants as well as the strongest field ever assembled for the richest handicap cycling race in Australia. With riders from three National Road Series teams present as well as a host of other Western Australian cycling talent, the racing was fierce and fast. As a result records were broken in both the Menzies Classic and Allied Pickfords Leonora Golden Wheels stages as riders chased the $40,000.00 in prize money on offer. The Goldfields Cyclassic Community Challenge provided the opportunity for casual riders to experience a long distance ride as individuals or as a team.
