HyannisNews.com WENDY’S PARKING LOT KNIFE FIGHT: Suspect reportedly approached victim in drive-thru line yelling “I’ve been waiting to kill you!” [HN VIDEO] July 26, 2019 Robert Bastille HYANNIS – As you will see in the following HN Video, on Wednesday evening, multiple Barnstable Police squad cars raced to the busy Wendy’s parking lot on Route 132 for reports of a disturbance involving at least one man with a knife. And according to a Thursday evening online Cape Cod Times report by Wheeler Cowperthwaite, a Hyannis man was arrested after allegedly engaging another man in a “knife fight.” Wahzir Beyah, age 22, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Threatening to Commit a Crime, and Common Law Affray… and bail was set at $1500, according to details in the Cape Cod Times article. According to the online article, a witness took a video of the Beyah and the victim “circling and trying to stab each other.” According to police report details reported in the article, the suspect walked up to the victim’s car in the drive-thru, yelling, “I’ve been waiting to catch you. I’ve been waiting to kill you!” Beyah also reportedly had pleaded guilty to drug possession charges back in March, and had been serving an active probation sentence at the time of the Wendy’s parking lot disturbance.
