Freight Trains & Diversions at Blea Moor (January 2026)

9 January 2026 at Blea Moor, with a number of Class 66 hauled freight trains (stone trains from Arcow and Horton quarries, as well as an engineering trains), and Avanti West Coast diversions. These were run using Evero 805 bi-mode units, owing to the closure of the West Coast Main Line near Penrith for a bridge replacement. Also featured are several 158 diesel multiple units.
