Rajnath Singh In Ladakh Reviews Military Readiness

Defence minister Rajnath Singh, on a day-long visit to Ladakh on Friday said that the ongoing negotiations with China should help resolve the border dispute but he couldn’t guarantee to what extent the situation would be resolved, reiterating what the Army and the Ministry of External Affairs had said on Thursday about the complex nature of the negotiations. Addressing soldiers at Lukung near Pangong Tso during his visit to Ladakh, Singh assured the country that no power in the world could grab even an inch of Indian territory. The Defence Minister also witnessed a para-jump by India's special forces and a demonstration by mechanised forces, in what is seen as a message to the Chinese about the preparedness of Indian forces in high altitude areas. #Ladakh #IndiaChinaFaceoff #IndiaChinaStandoff
