Welcome to the "Dying Light: The Beast" side quest walkthrough series! In this video, we tackle Side Mission 1: What Lurks Beyond the Pines. Quest Details: Quest Giver: Eli (City Hall, Old Town) Location: Old Town / National Park Prerequisites: Complete Main Story Quest "The Beast Within" Rewards: William's Knife, x2 Beginner Manuals, 10,000 XP Walkthrough Overview: Talk to Eli: Visit City Hall to start the quest. Eli asks you to find his father, William. Investigate the House: Head south to the National Park to find William's old house. Retrieve the cave key and notes inside. Enter the Cave: Use the key to access the dark caves in the mountains. Solve the Cable Puzzle: Locate William deep inside. You must repair and connect cables while avoiding infected (watch out for Volatiles!). Escape & Return: After helping William, escape the cave using the water path and report back to Eli to claim the unique weapon, William's Knife.
