Nara Lokesh shown Asia’s biggest video conference hall at RTG

Minister for IT Nara Lokesh today received Shiv Nadar, Founder & Chairman of HCL. Shiv Nadar was shown Asia’s biggest video conference hall at the Real Time Governance (RTG) Command Control Centre (CCC), in the first block of the Secretariat. The objective of the CCC is to review, monitor and issue orders in case of emergency and otherwise. If required, the officials/Ministers will monitor the situation at ground level with the help of drones from here. Very soon, all panchayats would also be linked with it. The key highlight of the Centre is that officials can interact with the Chief Minister through video conference from their mobile phones. Other salient features include Hitachi Visualisation suite for matrix surveillance and public safety — first of its kind in India, Pentaho bi suite for real time data analytics, barco video wall, the biggest laser lit wall in India with 24 screens, matrix camera analytics and data analytics from different departments are displayed on the laser lit wall and processing in real time governance. The government has installed 5,000 surveillance cameras across the State and has planned to install another 15,000 very soon. To put it simply, the Command Control Centre will be the invisible police protecting the citizens.
