Have you ever made cinnamon roll Christmas trees?? After seeing the viral videos of Christmas tree cinnamon rolls, my kids and I decided we had to try them too! Of course we had to make ours maple pecan cinnamon rolls from scratch because why not?? As part of our homeschool routine, we actually take every Tuesday afternoon to bake something together. Making the dough was the easy part. The tricky part was cutting the dough into strips to allow us to form our trees. We had a blast figuring out how to get the dough into the fun Christmas tree shapes. Once they came out of the oven, we topped them with maple cream cheese frosting, added a few sprinkles and plated on our favorite vintage Christmas dish we got from Bliss Marketplace a few years ago.
