Hearing impaired since birth and raised in an extremist polygamist commune, Lance Allred has a story that is truly one of a kind. At the age of 13 when his family broke away from the religious sect, Allred grew 6 inches in one year and began to play basketball as a way to make new friends and to also quietly channel his OCD which he kept hidden for years.
