Mortal kombat 9 - story mode - Chapter 8: Sub-Zero

◾Chapter 8 - Sub-Zero: The scene cuts to the Soul Chamber, where Sub-Zero is seen training his freezing power. Suddenly, he is ambushed by the cybernetic Cyrax, but manages to defeat him just as Jax and Sonya arrive. Initially believing him to be the real Sub-Zero, they eventually explain his death at the hands of Scorpion. The trio then confronted Ermac and, in the resulting confrontation, Jax had both of his arms telekinetically rip apart his body. Sub-Zero then engages Ermac in combat while Sonya tends to Jax. After winning, Sub-Zero tells Sonya and Jax the way out to Earthrealm when he goes to Shao Kahn's Coliseum in hopes of getting revenge against Scorpion. ◾Sub-Zero finally reaches the Coliseum and wants to face Scorpion, but the Reptiles fight it. Emerging victorious, Sub-Zero once again sued Scorpion as his next opponent, to which Shao Kahn agreed. Quan Chi summoned the Scorpion from the Netherrealm and the fight began. Sub-Zero wins the match, but before he can finish off the Scorpion, he is ambushed by cybernetic warrior Lin Kuei, who offers their loyalty to Shao Kahn in exchange for Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero disappeared, along with the cyborg.
