Sunday Service for January 4, 2026 from Cobb Memorial

Hi Folks, In honor of the new year we began at the beginning with readings from Genesis 1:1-5, John 1:1-5, I John1:1-4, and 2 Corinthians 5:16-19. These scriptures teach us that there is a message, a meaning, a purpose, and a value at the beginning of all things. Life begins for us anew every day. We don’t often see that new beginning because we get too caught up in the same old stuff that frustrates us every day. The good news is that we can rise above that some old stuff by accepting the power of forgiveness that is ours in Jesus Christ. Forgiveness is the power that lets us see a new day every day.
