START CRASH + SPIN! Porsche Carrera Cup Challenge Benelux + France at Spa-Francorchamps 2018

The start crash from race 2 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux + Porsche Carrera Cup France at Spa-Francorchamps. After this start crash, the race was not red flagged and "continued" under the safety car, although the medical car, extraction team and an ambulance were required to tend to the driver. This shortened the 30 minute "race" to 5 minutes. This was the only support series for the 2018 WEC 6 Hours of Spa. The organisers decided to start this race only ~1h 45min before the schedueled start of the main WEC event, instead of placing it before the pit walk which began at 10:00. This loss of a race could easily have been avoided.
