Safeguarding 109: Digital Safeguarding

Using a recent example that I referenced in a previous video, where an adult contacts an 11year old child on social media, I explore the issue of digital safeguarding. In the example, referenced in my Stickerwoman Gwent 3 video    • Stickerwoman Gwent Update 3   a trans activist known online as @ApplecoreKatie makes contact with an 11 year old, on YouTube. Katie was unhappy about my referring to this incident, and claimed in a response video that it is “harmless” to contact an 11 year old on social media    • I react to 'Feminist' Claire's transphobic...   I ask the question: “is it ever ok for an adult to contact a child on social media, through “likes”, subscribing, commenting, or private messaging that 11year old?” This video is designed for the use of parents, not designed for use with young people.
