II.3.4. The Eddington Luminosity

We consider an equation for the temperature gradient. The pressure of a star consists of the gas pressure and the radiation pressure. When the radiation pressure becomes too strong, a star cannot maintain an equilibrium structure and loses gas from the surface as stellar wind.
