Welcome to this new video in our series dedicated to men's health and wellness. Today, I'd like to introduce you to one of the most innovative and anatomy-friendly technologies for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): TPLA (Transperineal Laser Ablation). When we talk about TPLA, we're not talking about traditional surgery. It's a minimally invasive procedure performed on an outpatient basis, using only local anesthesia. Using ultra-precise ultrasound guidance, we insert very thin needles transperineally (without passing through the urethra) directly into the obstructed prostate tissue. The laser light develops a controlled heat source that dehydrates and reduces the volume of the prostate, freeing the urinary tract. Why is TPLA changing the way BPH is treated? ✅ Preservation of biological functions: It is one of the most effective techniques for 100% preservation of sexual function and antegrade (natural) ejaculation. ✅ No urethral trauma: By not passing through the urinary canal, it eliminates the risk of strictures or trauma typical of transurethral surgery. ✅ Local anesthesia: Also ideal for elderly patients or patients with heart conditions who cannot undergo general or spinal anesthesia. ✅ Quick and painless: The procedure lasts about 20-30 minutes and offers excellent patient comfort. In this video, I show you in detail how it works and the anatomical requirements for this treatment. Enjoy! 📺 Watch the other videos in the series: If you want to learn about and compare other minimally invasive options (such as Rezum, UroLift, or i-Tind), you can find all the detailed information here on my channel. 🔔 Subscribe to the channel and activate the bell to never miss upcoming videos on prevention and men's urological health. 🌐 For information, contact information, and reservations: www.lucacindolo.it 📞 For appointments and procedures: +39 392 156 3203
