In 1954, a French airfield deep in the mountains of Southeast Asia was surrounded by a huge force of communist Viet Minh soldiers. The siege lasted months, with the first direct assault coming against a strongpoint code-named "Beatrice One" on the evening of March 13. In this game of Valor & Victory, originally written for WW2 by Barry Doyle, we try to recreate the opening minutes of that savage battle.
