In this video I play Mario Kart World Grand Prix in an attempt to win the Golden Lightning Cup! Mario Kart World is the first Mario Kart game on the Nintendo Switch 2 console and was released on the same day as the Nintendo Switch 2 console itself: June 5, 2025. In Mario Kart World, you'll be able to play the well-known Grand Prix where you have to compete against others in an attempt to place first and win the cup. However, in Mario Kart World, races consist of no less than 24 players in total which is double the amount of the previous Mario Kart game! In addition to the Grand Prix, a brand-new game mode has been added to the Mario Kart series for the first time: Knockout Tour. In Knockout Tour, you have to compete in a series linked courses with 5 checkpoints. At each checkpoint, racers who don’t place high enough are out! Finally, Mario Kart World offers an open world in which you can drive freely, which is called: Free Roam. In the open world, you may roam around freely to explore the entire map, including all of the courses that are included in the Grand Prix and Knockout Tour!
