The Last Dinner Party—“Rifle” | OC AMV | BW

It’s finally heeeere!!! I can’t believe how long this took lol, I started in early November and the grind I was on to get it out before new years was insane (next year if I talk about doing a big new years AMV make sure to bully me out of it this was ridiculous 😭) This animation focuses mainly on a character who, despite not being shown a lot on this channel, is actually the one ive had for the longest out of any of them, (excluding characters who were vaguely inspired by my old ones. Her design is almost unchanged since ~2020). Her name is Kaya Tamayo, and she’s a bearded vulture Hybrid! (This is the first vid where her hybrid form is a vulture, the others have been a hawk and a secretary bird, but i think ive finally settled on the species). Kaya is one of the interns at the Wisconsin State Lab of Cryptozoolpgy, but unlike the others, she is there with a daunting purpose. Coming from a family line of the original Lab-created Hybrids, Kaya was raised with the lifelong purpose of assassinating the corrupt director of the WSLC, Alyssa Hayes (a Werewolf with a savior complex, searching for a cure to Lycanthropy). But, as she is faced with more and more chances to fulfill her purpose, it becomes clear that Kaya is a master of subconsciously self-sabotaging. She builds up this event (her killing Alyssa) in her head as a momentus, grand excecution so much that any opportunity to actually do it hust doesnt feel “right” to her. And, if you’ve been following my other lore, you know that in the end it is actually Reno (the POV character, Werewolf and intern) who kills Alyssa. Much of Kaya’s violence in the books actually ends up directed at Reno as a method of “taking out the competition so she can get closer to Alyssa,” which is shown at the beginning of this AMV.
