The Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned for almost an hour on Monday following heated exchanges between Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and TMC's Derek O'Brien over the issue of party affiliations of those submitting notices on the Manipur issue. As Rajya Sabha Chairman addressed the MPs, Opposition MPs rose from their seats to raise their concerns, at which the Chairman said, "Mr Derek O'Brien, please take a seat, you are challenging the Chair."
