10 Minute Morning Mobility Routine | Wake Up & Move - Hustle Happiness 1. Standing Torso Twist:- Loose arms, lifting the heels to allow the spine to rotate naturally. 2. Standing Back Lean:- Interlace fingers behind the head; focus on opening the chest and leaning back to counter "desk posture." 3. Alternating Single-Arm Superman:- Stand tall and reach one arm up while the opposite leg reaches back, engaging the posterior chain. 4. Standing Hip CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations):- Draw slow, large circles with the knee while keeping the pelvis completely stable. 5. Horse Stance → Alternating Shoulder Lean:- Sink deep into a wide squat; push knees out and drop one shoulder at a time to stretch the inner thighs and mid-back. 6. Standing Alternating Windmill:- Wide stance; rotate through the spine to touch the opposite foot while keeping the arms relaxed and fluid. 7. Standing Spine Waves:- Roll down vertebra by vertebra and ripple back up to improve segmental spinal control. 8. Down Dog Walk:- In a downward dog position, pedal the heels to stretch the calves and hamstrings. 9. Down Dog Front Walk:- Shift weight forward into a plank and back to Down Dog to activate the shoulders. 10. Bootstrapper Squats:- Hold your toes in a squat, then drive your hips up to the ceiling to "un-stick" the hamstrings. 11. World’s Greatest Stretch (Left):- Deep lunge with a thoracic rotation (reach the left arm to the sky). 12. Lunge Hold → Overhead Reach:- Focus on lengthening the hip flexors by reaching both arms toward the ceiling. 13. World’s Greatest Stretch (Right):- Repeat the deep lunge and rotation on the right side. 14. Lunge Hold → Overhead Reach (Right):- Final hip flexor release on the right side. 15. Lunge Hold → Overhead Reach (Left):- A final balancing reach to reset the pelvis.
