In my latest video breakdown, I wanted to look at how the Baltimore Ravens shut down Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers' offense. In this game, Herbert ended up throwing for 5.0 yards per attempt, while his running backs - Austin Ekeler and Joshua Kelley - ran for a total of 14 yards on 10 carries. This game was a one-sided domination by the Ravens' defense. Through my film study, their use of blitzes, excellent downfield coverage starting with man coverage, then ending in zone, and the amazing play by Patrick Queen, Calais Campbell, and Marlon Humphrey all contributed to this victory.
