The full motorcycle ride up and over Bealach na Bà, also known as the Applecross Pass, continuing on towards Lochcarron in the Scottish Highlands. Conditions were grim: thick fog, heavy rain, blustery wind and at times near-zero visibility. We kept the pace very slow — often below 10mph — riding only to the distance we could clearly see to be safe. You’ll also hear us using horns on blind corners as we carefully worked our way through the single-track road, tight bends, steep gradients and exposed sections. This isn’t a fast ride or a heroic one — it’s a cautious crossing of one of Scotland’s most dramatic mountain passes in properly poor weather.
