Climate Change Science in the Pacific (60sec)
Pacific islands are at the frontline of climate change impacts. Climate change science provides much needed evidence to inform policy, planning, and decision making at the global, regional, national and community levels. This 60sec video outlines the role of climate change science in sector planning, negotiations, adaptation and mitigation initiatives. It highlights the role of the 'Pacific Meteorological Council' (PMC) and partners including the 'Next Generations Climate Projections for the Pacific' (Next Gen) project with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the 'Australia Pacific Climate Partnership' (APCP).
