"Dad?" My body was shaking he was few feet away from me, his gaze, his eyes it was so fierce like a predator slowly approaching on its trapped prey. I run quickly as fast as I can, this can't be happening I've been hunted by my Dad, I haven't even had a chance to ask the others what's going on. He's been acting strangely I mean his acting as the bad vampires I read in the book. The worst thing is he somewhat don't recognize me. I take a glance behind me but he wasn't there. I When I turn my head back on my way he was already in front of me. He moves then quickly behind me. He held me on his arms and exposing my neck to him. I heard some familiar voice not far from were we are. It was Nick. "Nick!" I cried. "Kevin stop, you don't have to do this!" Suddenly we were inside a barrier. Nick tries to break the barrier but its no use. It only shocks him with electricity if he touches it. Nick's P.O.V I can't break Kevin's Barrier it was surrounded with static electricity. Even though I'm a vampire being shocked with electricity still hurts specially if it is associated with vampiric energy. "Kevin don't do this! Not to Alex!" I yelled. I hold to my pocket and get the ancient dagger that Careen gave me. An hour earlier "If you see Kevin you must end his suffering Nick." Careen open a silver chest and get the dagger. His handle was designed like a cross and a skull at the end point with tourmaline crystals on the eyes of the skull. The blade was made of the finest ore made of iron and silver with the blessings of the ancient vampire hunters that was the guardians of balance between the two worlds. She handled it slowly to me, I was curious. "What do you want me to do?" I asked her. "You must kill him, this will end up his suffering." I noticed Joe clenched his feet and made a fist, he must be mad at me, he walks away taking some nocturnal walk. Alex P.O.V. Nick tries to break the Barrier but it was to tough whenever he touches the barrier he get shocked by a... I guess its what I call a force filed. Nick had suffer too much damage and weakens. Dads grip tightens but there's still a part of him that tries to fight his rage and hold back. "Dad wake up! Its me Alex please wake up from your slumber." I cried He suddenly screams he's trying to fight it he loosens his grip and walks a few steps away from me. He had lost his control of his own barrier he tries to get out but he too get shocked by the strong force filed surrounding the barrier. I was so powerless and I can't do anything to help him. He still tries to break the barrier and he did. He made it out to the barrier he looks at me with a sad face, I felt like my heart was stabbed by a knife when I saw a tear escaping into his eyes as he open his mouth expressing on how sorry he was. He then fades into the midnight fog, I tried to run to him but he was too fast, screaming his name and say that he should not be sorry about what had happen. Tired and weak I sat on a rock and cried so hard, what can I do, I wish I had some powers or something to help him. A cold hand runs from my head to my arms. It was Nick. "I'm hopeless, this is all my fault." I bargain "Shhh don't say that." He said while he hugs me. "Don't blame your self Alex." Nick suddenly get off his hands to me and suddenly walks farther away from me. "Hey whats wrong Nick?" I asked. "Blood, your bleeding?" he said as his eyes turns to red. I was staring straight at him. He then looks away, pissed. "Please don't look at me, not in this situation." He said, he made a fist disappointed. I still had no idea were is the source of his blood reaction. I look any trail of blood and then I saw it on my left arm as I follow were its source I was shocked when it lead to my neck. I didn't remember that I was bitten by Kevin. It was still bleeding. I don't know if I'll be safe with Nick with me or it will turn the other way around. My vision suddenly blurs and suddenly I fell on my knees. I was looking at Nick, he was far away from me composing himself. I felt so cold and I apply a pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding.
