At the Edge of Dreams is an 8-hour sleep soundscape with no vocals, a black screen, and calm ocean waves, made for nights when silence feels too sharp and noise feels overwhelming. This includes sleep music with a black screen, followed by ocean sounds for deep sleep. The first hour features gentle, no-vocal sleep music paired with a full black screen to reduce light and visual stimulation. This opening section is meant to help your body slow down and your thoughts begin to loosen their grip. After the music fades, the soundscape transitions into seven uninterrupted hours of calm ocean waves, steady, natural, and unobtrusive, created to support deep rest through the night. Sensory-Supportive Design Made for anyone, but intentionally supportive for autistic and neurodivergent listeners who often don’t relax to pure ambient sound. The music is engaging enough to help your mind let go of the day, without overstimulating. The setting is an imagined old Edinburgh cobblestone street at night, just outside a quiet apothecary. Lamps glow softly behind rain-darkened windows. The street is empty. The day has ended. What to Expect No vocals, no talking Black screen (sleep-safe visuals) Gentle ocean waves until morning Scottish-inspired tones (no bagpipes — just cozy) Structure (8 hours total) 0:00 Sleep music begins 1:03:08 Ocean waves begin Let the music guide you to the edge of sleep, and the waves carry you the rest of the way. © Cinder & Moss.
