2015 Eden Valley Hillclimb in an R34 Skyline

The inaugural Eden Valley Hillclimb was run and won on the weekend of the 13th of December, 2015. This event was organised by Auto Corsa and was an action packed day with at least 5 cars that we saw impacting the wall. One Evo even lost his spoiler which seemed to be creating a little bit much lift when it was torn from the boot of the car. Located about an hour and a half from Adelaide between the towns of Keyneton and Sedan, the 3.5km track winds up the back of the Adelaide Hills and with rock wall on one side and armco on the other it can be a challenging bit of road. Unfortunately with a narrow form up area, windy conditions and crashes the day was delayed so only 4 of the allotted 5 runs up the 3.5km track were completed. For a first event, it was a good run with plenty to build on for next year. Garage of Awesome will be back next year, with more cars to attack the hillclimb circuit and push the limits.
