Why Does PMI Care About Fighting Illicit Trade?

It’s time for private and public sectors, including governments, law enforcement agencies and regulators, to join forces and fight back. That’s why we launched PMI IMPACT, a global initiative to support projects dedicated to reducing or preventing illegal trade, and countering its negative consequences for individuals, their families, and communities. HOW DOES PMI IMPACT WORK? Public organizations, law enforcement, private entities, and nongovernmental organizations from around the world are invited to submit project proposals for funding. A council of external independent experts plays a central role in the evaluation and selection of the project proposals for the award of grants by PMI.
