Various of B1 passing by camera 12. Various of B52s STORYLINE: United States nuclear-capable bombers continued to arrive in the U.S. territory of Guam in the western Pacific on Friday. The U.S. government has called the deployment a defence measure amid international concerns over North Korea's nuclear weapons programme. Two advanced B1 stealth bombers, deployed to the island from Dyess airforce base in Texas, were seen landing at Guam on Friday. A number of older B52 bombers, deployed from a base in Louisiana, landed overnight. Guam is the United States' western-most territory, and about 32-thousand kilometres (2000 miles) from North Korea.
