Chinese President Xi Urges Communist Youth Leaders to Have Ideals, Ability, Sense of Responsibility

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday met with the new leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC), saying that the country would have a future and the nation would have hopes when the younger generation is full of ideals, capabilities and a strong sense of responsibility. President Xi congratulated on the success of the 18th CYLC National Congress, which concluded on Friday. He said that representing the youth, winning over the youth and relying on them is an important guarantee for the Communist Party of China to advance from victory to victory, and the Chinese dream of great national rejuvenation would come true through the struggle by the young people generation after generation. Xi said that the work for the young people in the new era must uphold the Party leadership, unswervingly follow the development path with Chinese characteristics.
