Star Wars Battlefront: Skirmish 1 - Outpost Beta (Fighter Squadron)

This map is set in the cold, snowy environment of Hoth. Players fight out in the open as well as in close quarter areas of the Rebel base. Near the trenches, players can man the Rebel DF-9 to fight off enemy ground troops. Skirmish is an offline feature in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront that allows players to play Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron (which were previously only available in multiplayer) offline or with a partner on any of the base game and free addon maps that support those modes, in a similar fashion to the Instant Action of the previous games. It was released as part of a patch on July 21, 2016. As of February 2017, there are no plans for future Skirmish content. The Arcade and Instant Action modes replaced Skirmish in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II.
