COVID-19 VACCINE: Updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 Vaccine - What You Need to Know (April 10, 2024)

In March 2024, the Center for Diseases and Control (CDC) updated the 2023-2024 COVID-19 Vaccine recommendations as follows: 1. People 65 years of age and older should receive an additional 2023-2024 COVID-19 shot (second shot). 2. Everyone 5 years of age and older should receive one (1) dose of an updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 shot. 3. Babies aged 6 months to 4 years should receive several doses of an updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 shot. 4. Immunocompromised persons (persons with weakened immune systems) should receive an additional 2023-2024 COVID-19 shot (second shot). They must wait two (2) months before they receive the second shot.
