Ouray Colorado | Jeeping in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado
The backcountry around Ouray, Lake City, and Telluride, Colorado is the center of episode 7 of 21 for 21. We drive our rented jeep over a number of trails and iconic backcountry passes in the San Juan Mountains over a period of two days. We also check out some restaurants in Ouray (Outlaw and Bon Ton) and Lake City (Packer Saloon & Cannibal Grill) and make a stop in Telluride where we ride the gondola to the mountain village for lunch at "The Pick". Backcountry passes included are Hurricane Pass, California Pass, Engineer Pass, and Cinnamon Pass on the historic Alpine Loop as well as Ophir Pass between Ouray/Silverton and Telluride.
