Miffy rabbit - A bunny recovering from pasteurella / head tilt - Part 1

Miffy was 6 years old in this video. She contracted what we believe to be pasteurella, characterised by the classic head-tilt and multiple infections of the ears, eyes and respiratory system. For a while she was bed-ridden and sedated during her ten week period of illness, during which time I didn't leave her side. At her worst, she couldn't eat, drink, walk or do anything for herself. Miffy eventually learnt to drink on her own without being syringe-fed. The affection displayed in this video was one of the many reasons I fought for her. Mentally she was the same inquisitive bunny and trying to do everything she'd always done!
