UK general election: Jeremy Corbyn says he won't lead future Labour Party after crushing defeat

Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn announced on Friday that he will not lead his Labour Party into "any future general election" after what looks like its worst poll defeat in 84 years. Labour, led since 2015 by the veteran socialist Corbyn, had won just 203 seats, the party's worst result since 1935. Corbyn said he would quit as Labour leader after a period of reflection.
