Canola and Sunflower Harvesting: A Source of Oil Production | Italian Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #54

Welcome back to the Italian Farm Timelapse. The agricultural industry is constantly evolving, and for farmers to remain competitive, they must keep up with the latest farming technologies. In this vein, we exchanged our old combine for a newer model, the NEW HOLLAND CR10.9. Although it came at a higher cost, the benefits it provides are invaluable, including a larger hopper and a longer pipe. Our focus on utilizing advanced farming equipment didn't stop there. After the canola harvest, we turned our attention to the sunflower crop. To maximize yield and efficiency, we invested in a new OLIMAC DRAGO GT header, specifically designed for sunflower and corn harvesting. Furthermore, we utilized the NEW HOLLAND T7-310 tractor with a VADERSTAD RAPID A800S seeder to plant soybeans in the harvested field. Once the sunflower crop was harvested, our attention shifted to processing the seeds into oil.
