St. Luke's Thornhill - November 6, 2022

Welcome to the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary time, and our celebration of mass at St. Luke's Parish in Thornhill. In today's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that many of the things we focus on distract us from our mission to join God in heaven. While this theme has been consistent since the beginning of time, it challenges all of us to draw upon an inner strength or higher calling to make our world a better place. Especially as we approach Christmas and start to normalize to a new world with the recent pandemic, shaping and influencing our new reality, we need to recognize what is important in life and focus on helping one another; something Jesus has always taught us.
