Army's new 30mm STRYKER DRAGOON conducts Live Fire in Germany

Trained crew teams from the 4th Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment conduct live ammunition firing tables with the 30mm Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle - Dragoon at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 20, 2018. These new Strykers with the bigger 30mm cannon will boost the regiment's firepower and will be fielded across the Regiment throughout the year. Due to recent Russian aggression in the region, the regiment requested more firepower to its standard Stryker ICVs, resulting in the 30mm Stryker Dragoon version as well as another version that is capable of firing the Javelin missile.
