A topic that clearly resonated with the group, Troy was one of our most popular talks on the day, discussing burnout and bad habits in the tech and creative industry. ► Troy King Troy has proven a popular voice in the design community, being the locknote speaker at UXCamp last year and the closing keynote speaker at Design Outlook earlier this year. For over 20 years, Troy has led transformation programs, projects, and change management for some of Australia’s leading and emerging brands, across a myriad of industries. He has performed to sold out shows in standup comedy and amateur theatre. Troy trained under a former SAS soldier to become an abseiling instructor, where he threw thousands of people off the top of buildings and jumped face first to the concrete after them. It was here he further developed his keen passion and curiosity around neuroscience, high performing teams, leadership and mindsets. Having gone on to achieve an Advanced Diploma in the Neuroscience of Leadership, Troy is now passionate about explaining complex neuroscience in easy to understand, brain friendly chunks that people can apply in their every-day life. --------------------------------------------------- Socials --------------------------------------------------- / uxcamp-melbourne / uxcampmelbourne / uxcampmelbourne https://uxcampmelbourne.com --------------------------------------------------- About UXCamp Naarm | Melbourne --------------------------------------------------- UXCamp is Melbourne (and Australia's) only community based unconference event for UX and design professionals and enthusiasts. We follow the Bar Camp format, a low-cost, collaborative event, where attendees of all levels are encouraged to prepare either a talk, a case study, a book review, a workshop idea or a group discussion. Anyone can pitch and the agenda is made after a big vote on the day. Over a dozen sessions take place, with up to 4 sessions taking place concurrently in break-out rooms. Ultimately, the day's format and speakers will depend on who comes, what you pitch and what you decide. #UXCampMelbourne #UXCamp #unconference #design #uxdesign
