Bronx Walk NYC - Exploring from Southern Blvd & Westchester Ave. to E 168 Street, August 2021
Southern Boulevard is a long thoroughfare. I am not sure if I could ever explore the entire avenue in one day. So far, I have been exploring bits and pieces of it in combination with other streets. Today I started my walk exploration from the Southern Blvd and Westchester Square intersection toward East 163 Street all the way to Grand Concourse. On Grand Concourse, I found a vendor selling adult and kid bikes for twenty dollars each. The adult bike was in pretty good shape. Since I already have e-bike, I did not need to banter for this one. I have become skeptical about New York streets’ bargains, because of many years of being ripped off. I suppose, it happened because of wrong actors at play. Not everyone is out to rip off someone. Taylor Way Taylor, 30, of New York City, died Oct. 22 in Bela Beluk, Afghanistan, of wounds from a roadside explosion. He was on his second deployment to Afghanistan and was assigned to Syracuse, N.Y. He graduated from Old Westbury College in Long Island with a degree in sociology and criminology. He joined the NYPD in 2005 as a transit cop and then was promoted to the narcotics division in Brooklyn.
