New York Protesters Criticize Trump

(20 Feb 2017) Thousands of protesters lined up outside Central Park in Manhattan to protest President Donald Trump, saying they would like to see him out of office in a demonstration called, "Not My Presidents Day." Demonstrators gave a variety of reasons as to why they were protesting Trump from his rhetoric toward immigrants to what they see as his manipulation of the political system. "He's not normal," protester Leslie Kerievsky said. "He's using the Republicans and the Republicans to get their agenda through are using him and it's disgusting." Other demonstrators admitted that while they would like to see Trump out of office they aren't sure how that would actually happen and if it did if anything would change since his Vice President Mike Pence would likely succeed him. The New York protest was one of many held around the country on the U.S. Presidents Day holiday.
