Deus Ex 2021: Mankind Divided sequel on hold?

Deus Ex Mankind Divided sequel has not received any news at the start of 2021. A new Deus Ex game seems very unlikely in the year 2021. It has been 5 years since the release of Deus Ex Mankind Divided and we have not heard any news regarding a sequel. I present 2 reasons why the Deus Ex series is currently on hold: 1: Deus Ex Mankind Divided was a commercial flop, the sales were underperforming. This was caused by: A horrible launch Microtransactions in Deus Ex Short main quest / story Unfinished story / content 2: Eidos Montreal signed a deal with Marvel to produce multi Marvel games. The first game they developed was the Avengers game, this game was huge flop in sales. However a new guardians of the galaxy game will be produced by Eidos Montreal. It seems very unlikely that a new deus ex game will be developed soon. After the commercial success of Cyberpunk 2077, i hope the executives of Square Enix will reconsider creating a new Deus Ex game. We deserve a sequel to Deus Ex Mankind Divided.
