Aviation Regulator Orders Probe Into SpiceJet Turbulence Case | Breaking News | Mirror Now News
As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, after turbulence hit the SpiceJet aircraft, the aviation regulation has ordered a probe into the SpiceJet turbulence case. Reportedly, 1 crew member & 14 passengers were injured in this mishap, and are currently at the hospital getting necessary treatment. The SG945 flight was headed from Mumbai to Durgapur yesterday and 11 passengers got severely injured in the crash landing, including one passenger who suffered a spinal injury. As per a statement issued by SpiceJet 8 out of the 11 injured patients have been discharged from the hospital and the treatment for the rest is underway. Additionally, SpiceJet also mentioned in the statement that the seat belt sign was on when turbulence hit. However, visuals from inside the plane show that several passengers did not fasten their safety belts.
