I wrote this protest song about war, religion, and the violence driven by dictators around the world, including Belarus, Russia and North Korea. Tragically, this happens everywhere, and the real victims are the children - scarred for life. When will humanity learn? To all Dictators around the world: use your common sense and stop waging war. Can you hear me? Imagine a world without war, where everyone lives in peace. What a beautiful dream that would be... but sadly, dictators never seem to learn. Music composed by Ruud den Outer. Tracks and vocals by Ruud den Outer (LX NOVUM - de Band) Bass Guitar by Henk van Greuningen. Visit the LX NOVUM website: https://rdouter.wixsite.com/lx-novum For the best sound and video effects, play it loud and on a big screen. Thank you for watching! Lyrics: The world is turning around, people die. The war is not over, I don’t know why. Soldiers are fighting, so far away. In the middle of nowhere, I hear them say. I want to go home ( Listen to me ) I want to go home ( away from this misery ) I want to go home ( Listen to me ) I want to go home ( away from this misery ) Lord you made the world seem right, but did not stop all the fight. Please make your decision now, and don’t think twice. Stop the war ( Can you hear me ) Stop the war ( Don’t forget to ) Stop the war ( Can you hear me ) Stop the war ( Don’t forget to )
