MINDHUNTER Season 3 Cancelled by Netflix, Creator David Fincher Confirms, Despite Great Reviews

Hey, guys! Well, unfortunately, our hopes have not been fulfilled as Netflix made the decision not to move forward with the psychological crime thriller series as Season 3 of Mindhunter has been cancelled. Despite amazing feedback from fans, that rated Mindhunter at impressive 8.6 out of 10 on IMDb and astounding 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, despite the overall popularity of the true crime genre, Netflix decided to opt out. Critics loved the gripping and intelligent series as well: Mindhunter boasts 4 award wins and 30 nominations, including 2 Primetime Emmy nominations. We were really looking forward to the potential Season 3, as the creator David Fincher, the man behind blockbuster film Zodiac, was hinting that notorious serial killers of the 80s, the Night Stalker and Jeffrey Dahmer, could become part of the storyline. Netflix had a problematic relationship with Mindhunter from the start, as there was a 2-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2; and this cancellation decision, too, took more than a year to make.
