MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Warren County Prosecutor David P. Fornshell says that a father in Mason has been arrested after his 3-month-old daughter sustained multiple rib injuries. Jason Bittner was arrested at his place of business, "Bittner Chiropractic" in Mason on March 16, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. and is currently being held in the Warren County Jail. Bittner is facing two counts of child endangering and one count of felonious assault. According to Warren County Prosecutor Fornshell, Bittner's infant daughter has 28 rib fractures in various stages of healing. Fornshell also said that while Bittner is a medical professional that owns his own chiropractic business in Mason, Bittner did not seek medical help for his daughter's injuries. Fornshell says that people "will be shocked at what comes out at trial." Fornshell says that Bittner was disappointed that his second child was a girl and that he didn't like that the 3-month-old was "fussy." According to the "Bittner Chiropractic" website, Bittner graduated from the University of Miami in 2008 and from the Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida in 2011. "I experienced a serious lumbar disc injury squatting 600 lbs. as a collegiate athlete at Miami. After 3 months of physical therapy and chiropractic care, I made a full recovery- avoiding pain meds, injections, and surgery, which were all on the table as treatment options. This sparked my passion for chiropractic and physical therapy. I absolutely love spinal manipulation, rehab, weight training and nutrition. I'm a diehard Bengals and Reds fan. I love my wife Casey and I'm crazy about my daughters... But my first and greatest love is Jesus Christ. I am most proud of my faith in him," wrote Jason Bittner in the "Our Team" section of his website. Jason Bittner will be arraigned on 3/21.
